Low-Level Light Therapy is the use of specific light wavelengths on the skin. It has been the subject of over 300 peer-reviewed papers, many focused on the red light range that includes 650nm. LUMIR is a consumer device built around that wavelength. It is not a medical device and has not been evaluated by the FDA.

How should I use it?
On clean, dry hair, moving slowly across the areas you want to focus on so the comb teeth part your hair and the light reaches your scalp. Consistency matters more than session length. Individual results vary and we make no guarantees.

Is it safe to use?
